Questions people ask
Are these tools really free?
Yes. The Market Snapshot, the New Business List and the look at who lives in your market are free to use with no sign-up. The weekly New Business List email is free too; you only give an email address if you want it sent to you.
Where do the numbers come from?
The Market Snapshot uses the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey five-year estimates. The New Business List comes from public records published by states, counties and cities: business registrations, business licenses, sales tax permits, contractor licenses and building permits. accelerated DBM, the research division of Accelerated Experiences LLC, gathers and formats them and does not change the figures.
How often is the New Business List updated?
Every week. The free list shows the newest week of businesses, by state and county, and starts fresh each Monday.
Which states does the New Business List cover?
The states with free public new-business records we can read each week. The list of states is on the New Business List page, and more are added as new sources open up.
Can I get more than the free tools?
Yes. accelerated DBM builds custom market segmentation reports with a media mix and a heat map, codes your customer list to the market segments, and runs Market Narc, the research tool behind these free ones. Ask us at ae@aexperiences.studio or 208-618-1989.
